Frequently asked questions
Ordering, shipping, testing, storage and research-use compliance.
Ordering & payment
How do I place an order?
Add products to your cart and submit the order request form with your contact and shipping details. We review every request, confirm availability, and email you an invoice with payment instructions. Your order ships once payment is confirmed.
Is my order confirmed when I submit the request?
No. A submitted request is not a purchase and no payment is taken on this website. Your order is confirmed only when we email you an invoice and receive payment.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Available payment options are listed on the invoice we email after reviewing your request.
Can I change or cancel a request?
Yes. Before payment, just reply to your invoice email or write to support@coastalresearchlabs.com with your order request number.
Shipping
Where do you ship from?
Orders are fulfilled by Coastal Research Labs, LLC in the United States. Your shipping options and cost are confirmed on your invoice.
How are orders packaged?
Vials are sealed and lot-labeled, then packed in protective, discreet outer packaging. Lyophilized products are stable for normal transit times.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. When your order ships we email you the carrier and tracking number.
Products, testing & storage
What does “lyophilized” mean?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) products have had their water removed under low temperature and vacuum, leaving a stable powder or cake. This format is standard for research peptides because it supports stability during storage and shipping.
What purity do your products meet?
Our purity specification for peptide products is ≥99% by HPLC. Purity results for each lot are shown on its Certificate of Analysis.
Do you provide Certificates of Analysis (COAs)?
Yes. Each vial carries a lot number, and the COA for that lot is available on request. Use the “Request COA” link on any product page, or email us with the lot number.
How should products be stored?
Store sealed lyophilized vials refrigerated (2–8 °C), protected from light and moisture. −20 °C is standard practice for long-term storage. Capsule products should be kept tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Each product page has its own storage notes.
Research use & compliance
Can you advise on dosing, administration or use?
No. We supply research materials only and do not give dosing, administration, medical or personal-use guidance of any kind. Questions of that kind will not be answered.
Are these products approved for human use?
No. Our products are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other agency for human or veterinary use. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements or cosmetics, and are sold strictly for laboratory research.
Who may purchase?
Only adults aged 21 or older who are purchasing for legitimate laboratory, analytical or educational research. You are responsible for following all laws and regulations that apply where you are.
Why do you ask for an age and researcher acknowledgment?
We sell research materials responsibly, and confirming the age and intended use of every visitor and buyer is part of that commitment.
